Facilitator application

Lead the room as a peer.

Application takes about five minutes. We respond within 7 days.

What we look for
  • Working artists whose presence elevates a room — not headliners.
  • Comfortable leading a session, or working hands-on as an engineer or producer.
  • A real body of work — the level shows in the credits.
  • Here for the craft and the collaboration. You make alongside everyone else.
What to expect
  • We read every facilitator application personally.
  • A real reply within 7 days.
  • A short call to talk through the right cohort and role.
  • Specialized working roles are scoped and confirmed on that call.
The package
  • ≈$1,000 stipend per cohort (flat), domestic travel covered up to $500.
  • Your choice of house room or glamping, with Tier 2/3 perks.
  • Peer-based and modest by design — facilitators are participants too.
  • Specialized working roles (engineering, producing, specialist) are scoped and paid separately.
Step 1 of 4 You

Let's start with you.

Your name, how you're credited, and where you're based.

What you do.

Your discipline, how you'd contribute, and a look at your work.

Check all that apply — this is how we place the right people in each room.

Links + credits — a Spotify/SoundCloud, a portfolio, notable collaborations or releases.

What you'd bring to the room.

Be specific — a small team reads every application.

A session or workshop you'd open to a room of peers — or a working role you'd take (engineering the sessions, producing alongside artists). Even a rough idea is fine.

What draws you to a peer-led, experience-first room — and your point of view as a maker right now.

Fit & logistics.

When you could come, how you'd want to show up, and a couple of last things.

A day or weekend rate for engineering, producing, or specialist work — or simply "open to the facilitator package." Session-leads can skip this.

Anyone in the Madrone orbit or the wider industry who'd vouch for how you are in a room.
