  • Comfortable with collaboration — solo geniuses welcome, but co-writes happen.
  • Respectful of the room — no phones at meals, no surprise plus-ones.
  • Here for the work AND the rest. The body and the work both get attention.

The two Artist Retreat pilot weekends are first — pick whichever works, or both. Later cohorts run Aug 2026 onward.

We serve alcohol on-site as part of the experience, so 21+ is the minimum.

No wrong answer — it just helps us plan. We're piloting and finalizing dates from interest.

All tiers are per person and all-inclusive — the cohort, every meal, full studio access, and the on-site team. Founders' rate, locked through Vol. 3.

Applying is free — a $500 deposit holds your seat if accepted, with the balance due 30 days out or in three installments. $200 early-bird off for early applicants.

Can I apply for a specific event?
Yes — pick your preferred date windows in step four.
What does it cost?
All-inclusive, by lodging tier — $2,000 to $3,000 per person, with a couples rate. Applying is free; a $500 deposit holds your seat if you're accepted.
Can I bring my collaborator?
Yes — choose duo or team in step four, then list everyone in step five. We review it together.
What if I'm not signed yet?
Application is open to working artists at any career stage. Career stage isn't a filter; body of work is.
How are decisions made?
Jake and Jon review every application together. We're looking for the right room — not the most followers.
Do you offer scholarships or support?
There's a support option in the application — note your interest and we'll talk through what's possible on your call.
Where is it?
On 44 acres at Stone House Farms in Nevada City, California. We'll share travel and arrival details once you're in.
Can I reapply?
Yes — once per year unless we invite you to apply sooner.
Where does my information go?
Stored privately. We don't share applicant information without your permission.
